Welcome to Burma Academy. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our platform. Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable education to everyone — and these terms help us keep that environment safe and fair for all learners.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Burma Academy ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
The Platform is open to anyone who wishes to learn, regardless of age, location, or budget. Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at office@innobytex.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Use of the Platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not: • Upload, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems. • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to harvest content without prior written permission. • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of Burma Academy or its instructors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may access and use content solely for your personal, non-commercial learning. Reproduction, redistribution, or resale of any content without written consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Enrolment & Certificates
Enrolling in a course grants you a limited, non-transferable licence to access that course. Certificates of completion are issued to the registered account holder upon satisfying the stated course requirements. Certificates may not be sold or transferred.
7. Payments & Refunds
Some courses are free; others may require payment. Prices are displayed before purchase. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.
8. User-Generated Content
If you submit reviews, comments, assignments, or any other content to the Platform, you grant Burma Academy a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform. You retain ownership of your content and are solely responsible for it.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Burma Academy does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using it will be accurate or reliable. Educational content is for informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Burma Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the interests of Burma Academy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Yangon, Myanmar.
